Kitai Shoves Into Aces

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Davidi Kitai
Davidi Kitai

Davidi Kitai opened to 35,000 from under the gun and Tony Miles three-bet to 115,000 just a couple of seats over. The action folded back to Kitai who four-bet jammed all in for around 350,000. Miles snapped him off and it was for good reason.

Tony Miles: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Davidi Kitai: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Miles was still well out front with his pocket aces. The {3-Hearts} on the turn meant Kitai was drawing to one of two tens in the deck. The river brought the {9-Spades} and the table all gasped as they thought it was a ten. Unfortunately for Kitai, it was not and he was sent to the payout desk.
