Bicknell Loses Half of Her Stack

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Picking up the action on the turn, Kristen Bicknell checked from the cutoff and the button moved forward a bet of 100,000. The board read {a-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} with around 180,000 in the middle already. Bicknell made the call and the {2-Diamonds} completed the board.

Bicknell checked again and her opponent quickly shoved all in for 170,000. "You won't believe what I'm going to fold here," Bicknell said as she looked back at her cards. A few seconds later, Bicknell did lay down her hand. "I know for sure you have ace-king or ace-queen," she continued. "I folded ace-jack."

"Why didn't you show?" her opponent asked.

"I lost the pot, I'm not supposed to show," Bicknell responded with a sarcastic laugh. "You won, you should show."
