A player raised from middle position to 3,500 and Sofia Lovgren called from the button. Both players in the blinds called as well, and with the four of them, they saw the flop appear.

The flop came down {6-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{8-Clubs} and all four players checked.

The turn was the {K-Spades} and when it checked around to Lovgren she put in a bet of 6,500. The player in the big blind called and the other two folded their hands.

The river was the {9-Diamonds} and the player in the big blind checked to Lovgren. She grabbed 12,200 but didn't immediately push them to the middle. She thought about it before eventually betting that amount and she got a quick call.

Lovgren opened up {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} for a set of eights and that was enough to take down the pot.

She isn't the only 888 ambassador that won a hand with a set of eights today, as Natalie Hof doubled up with that exact hand earlier in the day. Unfortunately for Hof, she was eliminated a bit later.
