Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

A player opened from the cutoff with a raise to 3,000 and Phil Ivey defended in the big blind with a call.

The flop was {K-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Ivey checked over to the cutoff who put out a bet of 3,000. Ivey cut a few chips out from his stack and called.

On the {K-Diamonds} turn, Ivey thought for a few seconds and checked over to this opponent. The player thought for a bit then cut out a bet of 5,500. Ivey thought for a bit, chewing his gum and staring down his opponent but eventually settled on a fold and the player scooped the pot while Ivey took a small hit to his stack which is still very healthy with over 140,000 chips.
