Dodd Puts a Stop to Seiver's Run

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Scott Seiver has had a profitable day thus far, running up his stack from under 50,000 to over 100,000 in a matter of a couple levels. However, after recently being moved to a new table, Corey Dodd had something to say about that.

Seiver opened to 1,800 from the cutoff and Dodd defended from the big blind. The flop fell {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Dodd check-called a bet of 1,200 from Seiver. The {j-Clubs} paired the board on the turn and Dodd checked to Seiver again who bet 3,300. Dodd continued to call and the {8-Spades} landed on the river.

Dodd checked for the third time and Seiver thought for a brief moment before tapping the table as well. Dodd turned over {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for trip jacks and Seiver's cards went flying to the muck.
