Erik Seidel on Day 1a

Erik Seidel is starting off by winning a small pot from his left-hand neighbor James Westenburg. Seidel sat in the small blind and Westenburg in the big blind.

The board was already reading {5-Hearts}{8-Spades}{9-Spades}{10-Hearts} and it looked like Seidel check-called a 1,100 bet from his neighbor. The {7-Hearts} completed the board and Seidel lead out on the river.

Seidel's bet was 3,000 and it didn't take Westenburg long to call. Seidel opened up {J-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a very long straight and that took the pot down.
