Matusow Gifts Some Chips to Gorodinsky

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

On a flop of {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{2-Hearts}, Mike Gorodinsky was first to act. He checked and faced a bet from Mike Matusow, his one opponent. Gorodinsky called.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and Gorodinsky check-called another bet from Matusow. On the {K-Spades} river, Gorodinsky checked again. Matusow bet once more.

"Well, that's not an ideal river for me," Gorodinsky said, but called anyway.

"Ace-jack," Matusow said. As he said that, he picked up his hand to find the ace-jack, but couldn't. "Fuck!" Matusow said. "I misread my hand, dude."

Gorodinsky then showed his {J-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} for two pair. A frustrated Matusow tossed his cards across the felt, revealing the {A-Spades} in the process and Gorodinsky was awarded the pot.
