Vitch Earns Two Calls with Number Three

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Chris Vitch boomeranged back from crumbs and now he's back to where he's comfortable, at the chip lead, as he significantly improved his stack in the following hand:

Vitch raised and Luis Velador called on the button. Scott Seiver called out of the big blind and drew one while Vitch and Velador both took two.

Action checked to Velador who fired and received two calls. A one-two-and-one sequence followed and Velador bet again after they'd checked to him.

All three drew one on the last draw and Seiver and Vitch again checked to Velador. He fired one more time, earning a call from Seiver but Vitch placed in a raise. Velador fairly quickly called and Seiver was surprised.

He said he thought he was 80-percent to win the hand but things suddenly changed. In the end, he still couldn't make a fold and called.

"Number three," Vitch said, opening his {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}, earning a giant pot to vault to the top.
