Bonomo Takes the Battle of the Blinds

Level 14 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

The action folded to Dominik Nitsche in the small blind who limped in and then called a raise of 800,000 from Justin Bonomo in the big blind. The flop came {8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Nitsche checked to Bonomo who bet 500,000. Nitsche still called and the {2-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Nitsche checked again and Bonomo fired another 1,200,000. Nitsche wanted to see the river and it was the {j-Diamonds}. Both players knuckled the table and Nitsche turned over {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a missed straight and flush draw. Bonomo held {q-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for two pair and raked in the pot.
