Bonomo Makes an Ill-Timed Move

Level 9 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo raised to 140,000 from the cutoff and Justin Bonomo defended his big blind. On the flop of {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, Bonomo checked to Petrangelo who continued for 120,000. Bonomo check-raised to 375,000 and Petrangelo called.

The turn was the {j-Clubs} and both players checked to the {10-Diamonds} on the river. Bonomo reached back for an overbet of 1,300,000 and Petrangelo called fairly quickly. Bonomo flipped over {9-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for just a pair of deuces while Petrangelo tabled {a-Clubs}{9-Spades} for a pair of aces to drag in the pot.
