Riess Puts the Pressure on Schillhabel

Level 7 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Catching up on the turn with the board showing {9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} with about 40,000 in the pot, Stefan Schillhabel put out a bet of 35,000. Ryan Riess was the other player in the hand with position and he made it 125,000. Schillhabel called.

The river was the {2-Diamonds} and Schillhabel checked. Riess put out a bet of 275,000 nearly putting himself all in but leaving a bit behind. Schillhabel thought for a while, but eventually folded, flashing his {A-}{5-Diamonds} in the process for trips and allowing Riess to take down the big pot.
