Hands # 21-26: Three-Betting is Back in Fashion

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Hand #21: Justin Thurlow opened button and got it through.

Hand #22: Juha Helppi opened from under the gun and took it down.

Hand #23: Andrew Yip raised the cutoff and Yasser Al-Keliddar three-bet from the small blind. Yip called. On the {5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{a-Hearts} flop, Al-Keliddar continued for 20,000 and Yip called. Al-Keliddar bet 40,000 on the {7-Diamonds} turn and Yip called. The {9-Spades} river was checked and Al-Keliddar folded to Yip's 40,000 bet.

Hand #24: Al-Keliddar raised and took it.

Hand #25: Al-Keliddar opened the cutoff and Helppi three-bet the button. On the {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop, Al Keliddar check-folded to Helppi's continuation.

Hand #26: Justin Thurlow opened the button and Mike Schneider three-bet from big blind. On the {q-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop, Schneider bet min and Thurlow called. It was a check-call of 40,000 on the {9-Hearts} turn and check-check on the {j-Clubs} river. Schneider's {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} kicker played against Thurlow's {a-Hearts}{4-Spades}, much to the surprise of the table.
