Calvin Anderson
Calvin Anderson

Calvin Anderson went from being near the top of the leaderboard to out in just a matter of hands.

It was five ways to the flop which fell {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Anderson fired out a bet of 19,000. Juan Vecino made the call, the turn fell the {7-Spades}, Anderson threw out 57,000, and again Vecino called.

The river fell the {5-Clubs}, Anderson moved all in, and was immediately called by Vecino. Anderson tabled {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for a flopped set and Vecino turned over {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for the nut straight, taking down the pot and doubling through Anderson.

A few hands after, Zach Schwanke opened from the button, Anderson moved all in for his remaining 60,000 from the big blind, and Schwanke made the call. The players turned over their hands.

Zach Schwanke: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Calvin Anderson: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The board was of no help for Anderson as it came {8-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and he was eliminated by Schwanke.
