Blizniak Gets Paid With His Set

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

The flop was showing {7-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, Jonathan Reinhardt led for 2,000, Thomas Blizniak made the call from the big blind position and so did Mohamed Aissani from early position.

The turn came down the {j-Clubs}, Reinhardt moved all in for 4,800, Blizniak called and Aissani moved all in over the top for 6,425. Blizniak called and the players then turned over their hands.

Reinhardt tabled {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for top pair, Aissani showed {k-Spades}{q-Clubs} for top pair with a lower kicker, and Blizniak turned over {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} for a flopped set. Blizniak had his opponents drawing dead to the {8-Clubs} on the river and he took down the pot, eliminating both of his competitors.
