Gregorich Gets the Best of Leah

Level 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Mark Gregorich: {x-}{x-} / {2-Spades}{a-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Spades} / {x-}
Mike Leah: {x-}{x-} / {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} / {x-}

Five players were still alive heading to fourth street but after Mike Leah led out with a pair of eights showing and Mark Gregorich put in two bets, the rest of the table folded.

Leah, however, stuck around and check-called Gregorich on fifth, sixth, and seventh. Gregorich turned over {3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for trip deuces and a six low. Leah tabled {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for two pair and a missed straight flush draw. Gregorich scooped the pot and Leah fell below half of his starting stack.
