Levi Keeps Climbing

Level 3 : 150/300, 0 ante

David Levi limped in from middle position and action folded to the small blind where the player raised to 1,200. Michael Mckenna called in the big blind and Levi called as well.

The flop was {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and action checked to Levi who bet 300. The small blind called.

"What the hell?" Mckenna said before calling. "Ok David. Max value."

The turn was the {4-Spades} and the small blind led out with a bet of 4,000. Mckenna folded while Levi called.

On the {J-Clubs} river, both players checked. The small blind showed {A-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts} for just a pair of sixes and a missed straight draw, but Levi had him beat with {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades} for a better pair, and that allowed him to scoop the pot, climbing to nearly 80,000 chips.
