The final flight of the Giant is truly enormous in size. After six levels the field has grown to 3,867 and with that, it is three times bigger than the previous biggest Giant flight of this WSOP. Day 1a got 1,289 entries and was the biggest flight, but today's tournament completely crushed the number of entries.
The late registration is still open for another three hours and the lines haven't gotten any smaller over the last couple of hours.

The player under the gun raised to 2,100 and five players ended up calling, including Mike Dentale on the button and Michael Knobloch from the big blind.
The flop came down and the small blind checked to Knobloch, who put in a bet of 7,500. It folded to the player in the hijack and he pushed all in. The bet was 25,000 and Knobloch was the only one that called.
Michael Knobloch:
Hijack:
The turn and the river were complete bricks for both players and Knobloch took down the pot to rise over the 100,000 chip mark.

Chris Moneymaker busted out of the tournament twice already, but registration is still open until the end of Level 9.
Moneymaker took his seat at his new table and saw the small blind raise to 2,500. Moneymaker called and they saw a flop. They both checked and Moneymaker took it down on the turn with a bet.

Registration is closed in a couple of minutes, but the line with people already having a ticket is longer than a football field. The tournament has almost as many entrants in Day 1e than in all the previous flights combined.
Shaun Deeb just busted out of the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship and has now joined the Giant.

Registration is closed and there are still people waiting to be seated who already registered. The number of entrants on the clock right now is 4,365, but that is subject to change until they have confirmed the total amount of entries in the tournament.
