Registration for this tournament is open in the first nine levels of the tournament. Right now there is a line that stretches throughout the entire hallway next to the Amazon room and the tournament has so many entries that it is played in four different rooms.
The total entries for today are already up to 3,110 and it is almost 2.5 times as big as the biggest Giant flight so far this year.
Loren Joost raised to 1,150 from the cutoff when the player to his right had limped. The player in the small blind called and they saw a flop of appear on the board.
All players involved in the hand checked to see the turn. It checked to Joost and he bet 800. The player in the small blind folded and the player to Joost's right called.
The river completed the board and Joost's opponent took the initiative by betting 1,200. Joost folded and his opponent raked in the pot.

Dutch poker player Farukh Tach was sitting with just 3,200 as we passed his table. When we walked by the second time, all of his chips were in the middle and he had to win a coinflip with against .
The board ran out and Tach started stacking his newly won chips, while also still keeping an eye on the Giant registration line.

As we stood next to Jeff Gross at his table over in the Brasilia room, we heard a lot of noise coming from one of the other tables in the Giant. There was a player all in and a side pot and a player needing change.
The floor was called and Mike Dentale tried to make sure it all went right as he just joined the tournament and is seated at that table.
Jeff Gross seemed to be playing the $1,000 online event at the same time as he is playing in the Giant.
