Bellande Finds His Nemesis

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Jean-Robert Bellande opened to 105,000 two hands in a row, and each time Dean Lyall three-bet to 285,000 directly to his left. In the first hand, Bellande laid his hand down, but the second time around Bellande made the call.

"You again?" Bellande piped up. "I'm gonna call just because if I hit, you won't know what hit you."

The flop came {q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Bellande checked in the dark. Lyall threw in a bet of 200,000 and that got a quick fold from Bellande.

"Just wait for 17 hands until I make it 105,000 and three-bet me. It's a free 105,000 chips for you," Bellande continued as he seems to be the only one chatting at the table.
