"Don't Bluff the Donkey"
On a board reading , Jean-Robert Bellande and Jeff Madsen were left heads-up in what was shaping up to be a massive pot. Bellande checked from the small blind and Madsen nearly pushed all of his chips into the middle, betting 25,500 into a pot of nearly 30,000. Bellande went into the tank while getting a massage and eventually called off his last 24,575 chips.
"Nice hand," Madsen said as he turned over . Bellande didn't have much better with but was currently in the lead. The river brought the and Bellande's ace-queen high was good enough to take down a huge pot.
"My mom always told me, 'Don't bluff the donkey,'" Bellande said as he raked in the pot. Madsen was left with around 1,500 chips and would go on to bust just a couple of hands later.
