Conrad Doubles Through Negreanu

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

The {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop was already out and there were 48,000 chips in the pot when we got to the table. Shiva Dudani bet 30,000 from the big blind, Christopher Conrad called from the hijack, and Daniel Negreanu raised the pot from the button to 168,000. Dudani folded after brief consideration, and after a bit of time in the tank, Conrad called to put himself at risk.

Daniel Negreanu: {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Christopher Conrad: {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

Both players were drawing to the nut low but Negreanu also had the nut-flush draw and Conrad had a pair of sixes. The {9-Spades} turn and {9-Diamonds} river gave Conrad nines full so he took the pot to double up.
