Wattel Ousted

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Mike Wattel risked his remaining chips on the flop of {4-Spades}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} in what started as a three-way pot. Wattel eventually needed to beat just one player but his {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} trailed against {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}.

Wattel needed either a five or running cards to scoop the pot but he had a live low draw. The {4-Clubs} and {J-Clubs}, however, didn't give him anything and Wattel left the tournament short of advancing into Day 2.
