Matt Szymaszek Eliminated in 2nd Place ($183,081)

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Matt Szymaszek

Matt Szymaszek raised and Scott Seiver three-bet. Szymaszek called and Seiver bet all three streets on {3-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. Szymaszek called down but Seiver had gotten there on the river with {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}.

Left with crumbs, Szymaszek got them in on {6-Spades}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} the next hand. He had {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} but some of his outs were dead against {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. The {q-Diamonds} further narrowed Szymaszek's chances and the {a-Diamonds} ended it just as the level closed.
