Kruk on Fumes After Dropping Two

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Gregory De Bora raised in middle position and called a three-bet from Christopher Kruk in the cutoff. De Bora check-raised the {3-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop and slowed down with a check-call on the {a-Clubs} turn. On the {k-Diamonds} river, De Bora came out betting again. Kruk thought for a bit and called but couldn't beat {k-Spades}{9-Spades} for trips.

The next hand, the board read {4-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and Scott Seiver check-called against Kruk out of the big blind. Both checked the {5-Clubs} river and Seiver showed {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts} to take it down.
