Zinno Moves into the Lead

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Ken Deng raised, Dan Zack three-bet in the cutoff, and Anthony Zinno called in the big blind, so they all saw the {2-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Spades} flop. Action checked to Zack, who bet. Zinno raised and Deng folded. Zinno then bet the {6-Clubs} turn and Zack raised. Zinno reraised and Zack called. The river was a {3-Clubs} and Zack quickly called the final bet only to lose to {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

In the next hand, Benny Glaser raised on the button and Zinno three-bet. Glaser called and then called again on the {k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. Both checked the {k-Spades} and Zinno bet the {8-Hearts} river. Glaser thought about 30 seconds and folded.

Ho Doubles Through Szymaszek

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Maria Ho
Maria Ho

Christopher Chung raised from under the gun and Matt Szymaszek three-bet. Maria Ho put in a fourth bet and it folded back to Szymaszek who called. They saw a flop of {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Szymaszek led out with a bet.

Ho put her last 27,000 in the pot and Szymaszek quickly called turning over his {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. Ho showed {a-Hearts}{a-Spades} for top set of aces and Szymaszek was left drawing dead when the {2-Spades} hit the turn.

The meaningless {q-Hearts} completed the board and Ho earned the pot and the double-up.

Flush Over Straight

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Scott Seiver was in the big blind against Ken Deng under the gun and he check-raised a {9-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} board. Deng called and then called a bet on the {4-Hearts} river.

"I have a straight," Deng said.

It was no good as Seiver turned a flush with {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Deng mucked his {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

Zack Sinking Some More

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Dan Zack defended big blind from a Scott Seiver button raise and called turn and river bets after unknown flop action on {8-Hearts}{a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Seiver announced sixes and tabled {6-Spades}{5-Clubs} to win showdown.

The next hand, Zack raised small blind and called a three-bet from Matt Glantz. The board ran out {k-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Glantz turned over {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} after seeing a worst-case runout. It was still good, though, as Zack mucked.
