WSOP 2021 | How To Play Short Deck No-Limit Hold'em Feat. Daniel Negreanu!

How To Play Poker - Short Deck No-Limit Hold'em a.k.a. "Six-Plus Hold'em"!

Explanatory and poker strategy video featuring Daniel Negreanu & Chance Kornuth @ The WSOP 2021!

Short Deck No-Limit Hold'em is a variety of No-Limit Hold'em that has been increasing in popularity in recent years. Some famous enthusiasts of the game include high stakes poker players Tom Dwan & Phil Ivey! The most significant difference between Short Deck & regular NLH is that everyone is dealt two cards, except they're not coming out of a standard deck. Every card 2 through 5 is removed, so the deck is 36 cards deep instead of 52.

As Event #29: $10,000 Short Deck No-Limit Hold'em is underway at the 2021 World Series of Poker - we outline some of the key differences of the game - plus get some insider tips from pro poker players Daniel Negreanu & Chance Kornuth.

Note: Always check the specific House Rules when you play Short Deck events as they can vary!
