Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? - Day 12 of the WSOP

Four new bracelet winners were crowned yesterday at the 2019 World Series of Poker All-Suite Hotel & Casino, with play continuing in the WSOP Millionaire Maker today.

Brett Apter overcame a 4:1 chip deficit heads-up against Russian Anatolii Zyrin to triumph in the $1,500 shootout and win $238,824.

Meanwhile there was a quick conclusion to the first $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em event of the summer – always popular events these – the winner was Isaac Baron who took four hands to defeat Ong Dingxiang after play was halted the previous day.

Coming into the event Baron had over $5m in cashes and a number of deep runs in prestigious tournaments around the world, but a WSOP bracelet had eluded him. Now he’s finally achieved poker’s biggest accolade and the $407,739 in prize money.

Another prestigious tournament on the WSOP schedule is the $10,000 Heads-up which was won by 30-year-old Sean Swingruber, defeating Ben Yu to win $186,356.
