Riess Left on the Short Stack

Level 14 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Ryan Riess opened to 90,000 from early position and Tom Marchese three-bet jammed all in for 365,000 on the button. The action folded back to Riess who made the call and the cards were tabled.

Tom Marchese: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Ryan Riess: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and Marchese earned himself a double up.

Just a couple of hands later, Riess called a turn and river bet from Bryn Kenney who turned over trip fours. A disappointed Riess sent his cards to the muck and is now sitting around 300,000 chips.
