Smith Eliminated by Petrangelo

Level 9 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Dan Smith
Dan Smith

Dan Smith was all in from the small blind for 97,000 with {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}, leading Nick Petragelo's {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs} in early position.

The board came down {Q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, giving Petrangelo a pair of tens to eliminate Smith.

With just two minutes before a number of hands would be drawn to conclude the night, Smith debated with his tablemates whether or not he'd be able to re-enter in time. With The Colossus beginning tomorrow, Smith preferred not to have to register amidst the expected madness.

Without a real solution, Smith exited the table and Petrangelo shouted to him, "Jack-Ten suited, bro."

Smith then wanted us to point out, "Make sure you write up that I was a gentleman, and that the rest of table were jerks," getting a rousing laugh from his former tablemates.
