Christner Leaves Negreanu on the Short Stack

Level 9 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Christian Christner
Christian Christner

Daniel Negreanu raised from the cutoff and Christian Christner re-raised to 108,000 from the big blind. Negreanu called and the flop fell {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Christner led out for 60,000 but Negreanu wasn't ready to fold just yet.

The {5-Clubs} landed on the turn and both players checked to the {3-Hearts} on the river. Christner checked again and Negreanu moved in a bet of 150,000. Christner used up a time extension and then pushed all in, putting Negreanu at risk for his last 126,000 chips. Negreanu thought for a moment but then released his hand to the muck, sitting on roughly 10 big blinds now.
