Schwartz and Shak Go to Battle

Level 4 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Noah Schwartz

Dan Shak limped in from the cutoff and then called a raise from Noah Schwartz on the button. The flop came {j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Shak checked to Schwartz who continued for 13,000. Shak called and the {7-Hearts} paired the board on the turn.

Shak checked again and Schwartz fired another 26,000. Shak check-raised this time to 75,000 but Schwartz wasn't going anywhere. He made the call and the {k-Hearts} hit the felt on the river. Shak bet 100,000 and Schwartz lined up a raise to 280,000. Shak threw his hands up in the air and leaned back in his seat. Two time extensions later, Shak finally sent his cards to the muck and Schwartz raked in the pot.
