Capitan Leads the Turn

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Three-way to the {K-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop, small blind Mack Lee checked and so did Bogdan Capitan in a middle position. Scotty Nguyen was on the button and he fired 45,000. Lee folded but Capitan wanted to see the turn so he matched the price.

The {2-Clubs} landed on the felt, filling a flush draw. Capitan took the betting lead and made it 137,000 to go. Nguyen cut out calling chips and started shuffling them. After a minute or two, he decided to save them and threw his cards away.

Flack Gets Most of Mizrachi's Stack

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Layne Flack

We came upon a massive pot where three players committed significant chips. Jerry Wong had 160,000 in front of him on the button after the {5-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} flop, only to see Robert Mizrachi jam for 385,000 in the small blind. Layne Flack shipped in himself from the cutoff for 248,000. Wong shrugged and decided it was enough action to get him to muck.

Layne Flack: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Spades}
Robert Mizrachi: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

It was top set versus a wrap and the {4-Clubs} turn gave Flack even more outs with a wheel draw. The {10-Diamonds} river gave him the straight and a disgusted Mizrachi grabbed his cards in frustration before mucking them. He had 135,000 left but busted out moments later.

Kozlov Picks Off Marsters

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

On the river of the {9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{K-Clubs} board, Tim Marsters led out 60,000 out of the big blind. Martin Kozlov was in the hijack and he decided to look Marsters up.

Marsters opened {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, joking that he had a flush.

Kozlov showed {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} for kings up and scooped the pot that helped him rise to 300,000 in chips.

Hachem Runs into the Quads and Doesn't Get Away

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Joe Hachem

Joe Hachem moved all in for 130,000 on a completed board of {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{j-Spades} and got snap-called by Brandon Shack-Harris.

"I have quads," Shack-Harris said quickly, flipping over {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}.

Hachem showed {a-}{a-} and mucked, halting his massage and heading for payouts.

Earlier, Ryan Laplante said on Twitter that Hachem folded aces full against him on a paired board but he didn't have the quads.

Paddock Doubles Again

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Robert Paddock's tournament life was on the edge of a cliff just a few moments ago, but he cracked aces with kings and survived. Now he's doubled again to climb through the standings.

Paddock opened to 27,000, Andjelko Andrejevic made it 96,000 and the rest of the chips went in as Paddock shoved for 226,000 and Andrejevic called off.

Andrejevic: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Paddock: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The dealer spread out the board of {6-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Paddock was confused when someone at the table said, "nice hand".

"Did you win?" he asked Andrejevic. The answer was negative.

"I thought you flopped a straight," Paddock said. But Andrejevic finished with kings up and Paddock's aces up scooped the big pot.
