Hughes Back to a Dominant Stack

Ryan Hughes

Ryan Hughes started the day as a chip leader but he was down to a nub a few levels ago. It's all forgotten now as Hughes is back at the top.

He was spotted in a pot against Richard Gryko who was under the gun, check-calling a bet on the flop of {8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

The turn was the {K-Hearts} and Gryko check-called another 125,000.

They saw the {K-Clubs} complete the board and Gryko checked one more time. Hughes announced he was betting 125,000 and Gryko took about a minute before he finally threw in the calling chips.

"Nut flush," Hughes said, rolling over {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for the ace-high flush along with a king blocker.

Gryko mucked and Hughes stacked his chips in tall piles, his traditional way when he's guarding a big stack.
