Ramos Stays Alive

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Jameson Painter raised it up from under the gun and Felipe Ramos stuck in his last 4,200 next to act. Eric Rodawig also came along from the big blind and the flop came {k-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

Rodawig and Painter were heads-up on the side pot and Rodawig checked to Painter who tossed in a bet. Rodawig check-raised and Painter called. The turn was the {8-Clubs} and Rodawig fired out another bet. Painter stuck around to see the {6-Spades} on the river. Rodawig bet again and Painter called.

Rodawig tabled {10-}{9-}{7-}{2-} for a straight and Painter showed {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for the low. The two players chopped the side pot but Felipe Ramos held {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for a full house. Ramos and Painter chopped the main pot but Ramos is still one of the shortest stacks in the room.
