Albrinck and Karimalis Battle Again

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Brad Albrinck and Angelo Karimalis have been sat next to each other since the start of the day, with Karimalis getting the better of his opponent earlier when they both hit a full house. But this time around it was Albrinck who took the spoils.

It was a battle of small blind versus big blind on the {3-Spades}{8-Hearts}{k-Spades} flop, and Albrinck check-called a bet before both players checked on the {2-Spades} turn. On the {4-Hearts} river, Albrinck bet and Karimalis called, to see the former turn over pocket deuces for a set, and it was enough for two-time WSOP ring winner Albrinck to take the pot.
