Hughes Pulls Off a Massive Four-Bet Shove

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 4,000 ante

NL 2-7 Single Draw

From the button, Ryan Hughes raised to 27,000 and small blind Scott Bohlman countered with a three-bet of what looked like 125,000. Hughes took only about 10 or 15 seconds and then announced that he was all in, shoving around 700,000.

Bohlman double checked his cards but let them go. Bohlman and Hughes are now virtually tied for the chip lead.

Rogers Doubles Through Bohlman

No-Limit Hold'em

Scott Bohlman raised to 25,000 on the button and called the shove of Aaron Rogers, who had 150,300 in the small blind. Bohlman was dominated with {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts} against {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}. The {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop brought a chance for a chop and the {5-Hearts} turn gave Bohlman a live flush draw but the {6-Spades} river was a brick.

Hughes Has a Bigger Showdown Value

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 4,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Aaron Rogers defended his big blind against Ryan Hughes' button-raise.

Rogers check-called 16,000 on the {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{J-Hearts} flop and then called further 32,000 when the {Q-Spades} hit the turn.

Both players tapped the {9-Spades} river and Rogers turned up a {K-Diamonds}, indicating king-high. But it was no good as Hughes rolled over {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and took down the pot with two pair.

Weinman Takes a Bit from Bohlman

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 4,000 ante

Big O

Scott Bohlman raised to 25,000 on the button and Daniel Weinman defended the big blind. The flop came {4-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Weinman check-called 20,000. Both checked the {3-Clubs}, and the {8-Diamonds} hit. Weinman bet 60,000 and Bohlman mucked in short order.

Hughes Doubles with a Rivered a Straight

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 3,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Ryan Hughes min-raised in the first position and Scott Bohlman re-raised pot on the button. Hughes called to see the {10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} land on the flop.

Hughes checked, and Bohlman potted it again. Hughes was ready to go so they ended up all in and the cards went on their backs.

Ryan Hughes: {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Scott Bohlman: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{K-Spades}{4-Spades}

Hughes was trailing but he had a flush draw and a straight draw with two cards to come.

The {2-Spades} turn was a brick but the {8-Spades} river filled Hughes' straight and he scored a big double for 222,500.

Marcel Vonk Eliminated in 5th Place ($23,028)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 3,000 ante
Marcel Vonk
Marcel Vonk

NL Five-Card Draw

Daniel Weinman opened for 20,000 in the cutoff and Scott Bohlman called in the small blind. Marcel Vonk jammed in the big for 45,000 and Weinman called. Bohlman thought awhile and dropped in 220,000, getting a quick fold out of Weinman.

Bohlman tossed two and Vonk three and Bohlman revealed {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{a-Spades}. Vonk turned over {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}, needing a ton of help. Bohlman didn't improve but Vonk was dead after turning over {7-Clubs} and {j-Diamonds}.

"Nice play," Aaron Rogers said with a smile, referencing Bohlman's flat. "You did that pretty fast, too."

Rogers Fades All Outs in the World to Scoop Bohlman

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 3,000 ante
Aaron Rogers
Aaron Rogers

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Scott Bohlman raised to 20,000 on the button and Aaron Rogers defended from the big.

They saw the {A-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} hit the felt and Rogers let Bohlman fire a 40,000-bet. Then Rogers moved all in for 120,300 and Bohlman immediately called.

Aaron Rogers: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Spades}
Scott Bohlman: {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

Rogers flopped top two, but Bohlman had a monster two-way draw, having a wheel draw along with a flush draw.

The {10-Diamonds} turn was, however, a fantastic card for Rogers who already locked the high half with a boat.

"Do it!" he said, hoping for a high river card to scoop. And the dealer obliged, rolling out the {J-Clubs} and allowing Rogers to rake in the full pot.
