Zinno Loses a Small One; Mercier Joins the Action

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Jason Mercier was one of the newest additions to the field.

"This is Stud Hi-Lo, right?" he asked as the action folded to him with a {5-} showing. After being swiftly corrected by Frank Kassela and co, he folded allowing the lady to his left to complete and Anthony Zinno to raise. It folded back to the lady who called.

Player 1: {x-}{x-}/{9-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{2-Diamonds}/{x-}
Anthony Zinno: {x-}{x-}/{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}/{x-}

The lady check-called bets on fourth, fifth and sixth street, before both players checked seventh street. The lady showed {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{a-Spades} for two pair, kings and sevens, and took down the pot.
