Hands #40-43: Massive Cooler for Massey Vaults Baldwin into the Chip Lead

Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Eric Baldwin
Eric Baldwin

Hand #40: [Removed:4] opened to 70,000 from under the gun and Michael Finstein called from the button.

The flop was {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} and Rudelitz led out for 55,000. Finstein called.

On the {4-Spades} turn, Rudelitz slowed down and checked. Finstein then fired out a bet of 100,000 and Rudelitz folded.

Hand #41: Aaron Massey opened with a raise to 65,000 from the hijack seat. Action folded to the big blind where [Removed:4] called.

The fop was {6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Rudelitz checked. Massey put out a bet of 90,000 and Rudelitz called.

The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and both players checked to see the {10-Spades} on the river. Both players checked again and Rudelitz showed down his {K-Spades}{4-Spades} for a pair of fours. It was good enough and he took down the pot when Massey mucked.

Hand #42: Eric Baldwin opened on the button with a raise to 65,000. Ian Steinman called in the big blind.

The flop was {J-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and both players checked to see the {2-Diamonds} on the turn. There, Steinman led for 50,000. Baldwin called.

On the {8-Diamonds} river, Steinman led again for 140,000. Baldwin let go of his hand and Steinman won the pot.

Hand #43: Eric Baldwin opened from the cutoff with a raise to 65,000. Action folded to the big blind where Aaron Massey called.

The flop was {K-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Spades} and Massey checked to Baldwin who bet 70,000. Massey called.

On the {5-Clubs} turn, Massey checked again. Baldwin put out a bet of 300,000. Massey slid in the call.

The river was the {4-Clubs} and Massey checked a third time. Baldwin shoved for a bit over 700,000 and Massey took another look at his hand before announcing a call.

Baldwin turned up his {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a runner-runner nut flush. Massey showed his {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a flopped pair that also went runner-runner flush. With that cooler of a pot, Balwin moved into the chip lead with a bit over 3,000,000 chips.
