Level 9 : 150/300, 0 ante

Andrew Barber

Big-O

There was a raise to 800 from under the gun and he was called by the player directly to his left and Andrew Barber in the big blind. The flop fell {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and it was a flurry of action from there. Barber checked and the preflop raiser bet 2,200. He was called by the player on his left and Barber check-raised to 9,750. The initial better re-potted all in for just under 20,000. That forced the third player out of the hand and Barber quickly called.

Andrew Barber: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}

There was no telling what could happen with both players holding multiple draws to high and low hands. The turn brought the {8-Clubs} and the river landed the {3-Spades}. Barber made the best high hand with two pair, eights and threes, while both players made the nut low with ace-deuce. Barber was awarded three-quarters of this massive pot and climbed over 50,000 chips.
