Haxton Gives Up on the River

Level 1 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Isaac Haxton opened from the hijack seat with a raise to 1,200. Mike Leah called from the cutoff.

The flop was {A-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Haxton led out with a bet of 1,800. Leah took his time before calling.

On the {8-Diamonds} turn, Haxton thought for a moment then announced "pot," making it 6,600 to go. Leah thought for a bit himself before calling.

The river was the {4-Hearts} pairing the board and completing any flush draws. Hexton tanked for about a minute before checking and Leah put out a bet of 11,000. Haxton did not waste any time folding and Leah took down the pot with no showdown.
