Daniel Strelitz wins $442,385 in the $5,000 NL WSOP Event

Daniel Strelitz is the newest bracelet holder here at the 2019 World Series Of Poker as he was the last man standing out of 400 players in the $5,000 No Limit Holdem event. Daniel came in to the final table as one of the shorter stacks but after a relatively quick final table he found himself calling Shannon Shorr Heads up when Shannon shoved over his open for 10 big blinds. Strelitz snap called with Pocket 10’s and was up against the Q4 of clubs of Shorr, a safe run out meant that he was able to capture the title. It was always going to be a tough ask of anyone at this final table to win other than Shorr. He came in to the final 6 with over 50% of the total chips in play. Strelitz didn’t give up though and battled his way through a stacked final table including Ali Imsiorvic and Maria Ho to earn himself $442,385 and his first ever WSOP bracelet.
