Alexander Immediately into the Action

Level 6 : 150/300, 0 ante

James Alexander has had a pretty decent run in 2-7 events thus far at the 2018 World Series of Poker. Alexander first went deep in the $1,500 NL 2-7 SIngle Draw event, finishing fifth for $17,494.

The Texas native then followed that up with an even better run in the $10,000 installment which played out late Wednesday morning. Alexander placed fourth in the Championship event cashing for $81,986.

Alexander is back in the action this evening and immediately tangled with David "ODB" Baker.

ODB opened to two bets and Alexander defended his big blind. Both drew two and Alexander check-called a bet from Baker. Alexander drew two once more while Baker drew one.

Another check-call saw Alexander draw one last card and Baker patted. Alexander check-raised Baker this time and Baker called to see Alexander open an {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{3-} to claim the pot.
