Siegel Takes Chip Lead From Stavrakis

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Jordan Siegel
Jordan Siegel

Jordan Siegel has won a big pot to take over the chip lead from Filippos Stavrakis.

Siegel raised from late position to 75,000 and Stavrakis was the only player to call, defending his big blind. As the dealer dealt the {Q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop, Stavrakis check-called a bet of 110,000.

Both players checked on the {10-Diamonds} turn to see the {6-Spades} river appear. After Stavrakis checked, Siegel fired big with a bet of 375,000. Stavrakis took multiple minutes to think out his decision and eventually ended up calling.

Siegel showed {J-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Spades} and won a big pot to become the new chip leader at the table.
