Batow Can't Chop Against Ace-High

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Tim Finne: {7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades} / {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Timothy Batow: {4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{J-Spades} / {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Tim Finne completed and Timothy Batow called. Batow bet on fourth and sixth while Finne made a bet on fifth. They checked the river.

"I only got a low," Batow said, showing his seven-six. Finne failed to make a pair as well but his ace-high was good not onyl for the high half of the pot but for the low as well. He had seven-six-four, beating Batow's seven-six-five.

Batow studied Finne's hand for a moment to make sure he was scooped and then conceded the pot.
