Chen Triples, but Holley Still Riding the Wave

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

James Chen: {x-}{x-}/{A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}/{x-}
John Holley: {x-}{x-}/{6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{J-Hearts}/{x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-}/{6-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{10-Clubs}/{x-}

John Holley completed and was called by one player. James Chen then made it two bets with just 1,100 total in his stack. Holley then made it three bets and the other player called. Chen called as well creating a small side pot of 200 chips.

On fourth, Holley bet and the other player called. Holley bet again on fifth and the other player called. On sixth, Holley checked and the other player checked behind but on seventh, Holley bet and the other player decided to fold.

"Missed the low but made a pair of jacks," Holley said as he collected the side pot showing his {A-Spades}{3-Clubs}{J-Spades}.

Chen made a full house though with his {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{2-Spades} and that meant he would earn a triple up and move over 4,000. Holley though is on a massive uptick, building up a stack of over 40,000 and he added a bit more in that pot by collecting the side pot.
