Zchechev Over Xu

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Ivan Zhechev raised to 9,000 from early position and was met by a three-bet by Jiandong Xu in the cutoff. The button and blinds quickly folded and Zhechev called.

The flop came {A-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}, Zhechev check-called the 16,000 bet of Xu.

They both checked through the {2-Diamonds} on the turn to the {4-Diamonds} on the river. Zhechev now bet 32,000 which sent Xu into the tank. After a few minutes, Xu hesitantly called. Zhechev flipped over {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} for two pair, aces and sixes, and the queen-kicker. Xu mucked his hand and complimented Zhechev on his hand.
