Alexander Doubles Through Ferguson

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 1,300 ante

Chris Ferguson opened to 12,000 on the button and James Alexander three-bet to 30,000 out of the small blind. Ferguson moved all in and Alexander called, putting himself at risk with his last 115,000 going into the middle.

Alexander patted forcing Ferguson to draw one. Alexander tabled a {9-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} and needed to fade Ferguson's {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-} draw.

Fortunately, Ferguson drew a {6-} which gave him a straight and Alexander collected the double up.
