A Monster Four-Way Pot...in Stud Hi-Lo!

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

There was, for a stud hand, an astonishingly large amount in the pot on sixth street, with four players still in the hand. Amnon Filippi and Phil Hellmuth, along with a third player, checked to Kevin Brewer who bet. The three all called and there was just shy of 25,000 chips in the middle heading to seventh street.

Amnon Filippi: {x-}{x-}/{q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}/{x-} - folded on seventh street
Phil Hellmuth: {x-}{x-}/{2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Spades}/{x-}
Player 3: {x-}{x-}/{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{10-Spades}/{x-}
Kevin Brewer: {x-}{x-}/{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}/{x-}

Again it checked to Brewer who bet. Filippi folded, but both other players called.

Brewer turned over {6-Spades}{7-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a straight and seven-six low. Phil Hellmuth mucked {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} while the third player mucked {8-}{7-}{2-} for an inferior low. Brewer scooped to leave Hellmuth short.
