Blair and Laka Double Up

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Eric Blair raised it up to 45,000 from under the gun and Peter Neff three-bet to 125,000 directly to his left. The action folded back to Blair who jammed all in for 568,000 and Neff quickly called. Blair tabled {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} against Neff's {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Blair had a lock on the hand. The {10-Spades} on the turn meant Neff was drawing dead to the {3-Hearts} on the river.

In the next hand, David Laka opened to 40,000 from the cutoff and Shawn Buchanan reraised to 150,000 on the button. Laka didn't take long before moving all in for 414,000 and Buchanan called.

It was a flip with Laka holding {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} against Buchanan's {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. The flop came {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Laka took the lead with a pair of jacks. The {5-Spades} on the turn and the {j-Diamonds} on the river only improved Laka's hand as he earned himself a double-up.
