Schindler Making a Run

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Jake Schindler
Jake Schindler

Earlier in the day, Jake Schindler had fallen below starting stack but has since worked his way back into contention. On a board reading {k-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, the big blind checked to Schindler who tossed in a bet of 27,000. His opponent called and Schindler flipped over {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for a flush which was good enough to beat his opponent's {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}.

Schindler raked in the pot and is closing in on the 200,000 chip mark now. The money bubble is on the horizon, just four eliminations away, and Schindler has put himself in a great position to make the money after bubbling the $100,000 High Roller earlier this series.
